Group Copywriter
Overview
TA is looking for a Group Copywriter. This is a client-facing leadership role. Qualified individuals will meet the following criteria:
- Have a minimum 10 years of agency/client side writing experience.
- Be a strong conceptual thinker, able to execute assets across all mediums and channels at a feverish pace
- Possess a mentoring skillset
- Be spellbinding presenter.
It would also be ideal, though not essential, if this individual has experience in the healthcare and senior living verticals.
More granularity than one might need, ever.
A Group Copywriter’s job is to develop and execute innovative concepts and copy for cross-channel initiatives including digital, social, direct mail and traditional marketing communications.
- Work closely with Strategy Team to incorporate consumer insights into concepts and executions
- Collaborate with Art Directors in the development of strategic concepts and executions from creative brief through project completion
- Create communications that effectively communicate and sell developed marketing concepts both internally and externally.
- Ensure a consistent brand story – visuals, voice – across all efforts.
- Stay up-to-date and train team members on the latest developments in digital and direct marketing best practices
- Develop campaigns with a sound understanding of each medium’s usability fundamentals and information design

- Sound understanding of integrated direct marketing principles as demonstrated through a wide-ranging portfolio focused on direct marketing campaigns with a strong digital emphasis
- An ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to present and convey ideas to a number of audiences including senior management, clients, and cross-functional teams
- Self-directed, motivated, collaborative and willing to learn, adapt and grow
