Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for their diverse portfolio, which includes investments in Oil & Gas, Real Estate, and Storage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, accounting, and treasury management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Oil & Gas:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for their diverse portfolio, which includes investments in Oil & Gas, Real Estate, and Storage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, accounting, and treasury management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Oil & Gas:
- Record volumes, sales values, transportation charges, other deductions, and severance taxes for Oil & Gas investments.
- Reconcile related general ledger accounts for Oil & Gas investments.
- Perform division of interest maintenance based on information provided.
- Familiarity with Everus revenue/JIB downloads is helpful.
- Familiarity with OGSYS is very helpful, although we do also have someone starting training on this program.
- Record non-op Joint interest billings (JIBs).
- Set up and monitor AFE balances.
- Record leases.
- Perform division of interest maintenance.
- Enter and process all invoices for payment once they have been approved by the supervisor of the corresponding company.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Reconcile related general ledgers for each account.
- Prepare and file federal and state 1099 reports.
- Help prepare payroll. Someone in our office will run payroll.
- Generate and mail payments on a mutually agreed-upon schedule.
- Record wire transfers.
- Reconcile payment processing to disbursement reports.
