Job Responsibilities, Requirements, and Experience:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the recruiting and retention efforts for all positions and support the HR Manager and Director of HR in recruiting key positions; ensuring compliance with hiring policies/procedures/laws.
Conduct onboarding and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
Conduct safety briefings and walk-throughs for all new hires. Report any potential safety concerns to the primary safety officer for the company.
Responsible for the accomplishment of human resource goals and objectives as assigned by the HR Manager.
Communicate HR goals and objectives to the company and gather feedback from the company to manage the effectiveness of HR programs and institute continuous improvement.
Administer HR functions within the payroll system including payroll deductions and pay rates; payroll is managed by the Accounting Department.
Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records IAW applicable privacy policy and laws.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:
High School diploma or GED, Associate Degree is desirable.
Any form of accredited sales or recruiter training is a plus
HR certifications are a plus
Experience:
2-5 years of sales experience
2 years of generalist HR experience with a track record of success is a plus
Must know Microsoft Office; knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
Must type over 40 words per minute.
Experience in adhering to laws and regulations in all personnel actions.
Experience with maintaining records and compiling statistical reports concerning personnel-related data.
Key Relationships
This position reports directly to the HR Manager located in Brookshire, TX for overall HR and recruiting goals and takes day-to-day directions from the General Manager of the Boerne, TX facility.
Work Eligibility (ITAR): This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident or persons with protected status.
