Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, motivated, compassionate individual to provide navigation through our Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program, a multi-disciplinary program devoted to the surgical treatment of Parkinsonrsquo;s Disease and related movement disorders. This position requires strong interdisciplinary skills, and the desire to develop and coordinate pathways, workflows, and relationships between patients and care partners, physicians in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and other subspecialists involved in the DBS program. The existing Neurological and Neurosurgical teams already have specialized physicians, nurses, physician assistants and other providers administering direct treatment and care. The navigatorrsquo;s role will differ in that the primary role is to ensure seamless coordination to improve the patient experience, eliminate unnecessary delays, provide education to patients and the community, and to help monitor and evaluate the programs outcomes and effectiveness. |
