Per Diem Team Members are required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per month, based on the needs of the department. 2 of the 3 shifts must be on a weekend. Per Diem Team Members must meet all training requirements within the first 30 days of hire. This will include required training during normal business hours on weekdays (4 minimum weekday training requirements to be completed within 2 weeks of hire)

Job Summary:
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients. Works under the direct and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing or designee but is independent in the application of advanced nursing knowledge and skills. Manages complex clinical situations for which he/she is responsible.

- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with older adults, personnel, and support organizations.

Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Practical Nursing program (LPN).
- Active certification as an LPN is required.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Minimum of one (1) year working with the frail and elderly
- All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, TB screen at time of hire and verification of professional licensure, if applicable. In addition, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or agreement to participate in weekly Covid testing and approved exemption is required.
