Thompson Creek is looking for an Installer to join the Thompson Creek family within our bathroom division!
The Installation helper is responsible for assisting lead installers with the installation of Jacuzzi Bath Remodel systems and to learn the Jacuzzi installation process and methodology.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Learn Jacuzzi methodology and assist with the installations at customers’ homes at prescribed times, taking care to protect their property.
- Demolition of old bath.
- New wall preparation.
- Basic plumbing connections and fixture installation.
- Cutting and prepping materials.
- Clean workspace upon completion.
- Maintain communication with Installation Manager throughout the day.
- Perform multi-step processes in a logical order, check your own work, and recognize and correct mistakes with the guidance of the lead installer.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, staging, inventory, load out.
- Pull materials according to job paperwork.
- Load job materials and gather all materials necessary to complete job in one day.
- Provide outstanding face to face customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
- Level I – at least 1 year experience working in a construction environment, ability to read a measuring tape and experience using power tools.
- Level II – at least 1 year experience in bathroom installation, interior residential home renovation, or related field, certified level 1
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to develop proficiency using company provided applications using an iPad or similar tablet device.
- Licenses and Certifications: valid drivers’ license
