SUMMARY: Responsible for creating, coordinating, updating and analyzing transportation routes, field trips, and all needed transportation operations to ensure that they provide both safe placement and efficiency in accordance with established laws and procedures. Provide customer service and resolve routing and department concerns with parent/guardian, administration, Transportation department and district staff. Have a full understanding and operating knowledge of district and department policies and procedures, state and federal regulations relevant to transportation operations and Thompson School District. Provide any needed support to the department and district in emergency situations.

Starting rate of pay is $21.97 per hour plus benefits. Range 21 - ($21.97 - $33.76) Classified Salary Schedule (will be moving to Range 23 on 7/1/12024 - starting at $24.42)
