Thompson First Group is seeking Production Assemblers or temporary to hire opportunities for a local client in New Castle, DE.

Candidates with a background working in warehouse, production and / or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform duties as assigned in the Medicine Cabinet department.
  • Employee will be trained to perform a variety of assembly and packing task, such as : Operating a rivet machine, glue gun, drills, tape gun, staple gun, gauges and fixtures.
  • Candidate must have good hand to eye coordination and the physical strength to maneuver large medicine cabinets.
  • The candidate will be scheduled to work in a production cell with co-workers as a team and other assorted job functions as needed.
  • The candidate must be comfortable wearing PPE such as : Safety glasses, gloves and sometime ear plugs.
  • The employee must be capable of identifying nonconforming material that does not meet the department quality standards.
  • Additional duties may be added as requested by supervisor.
