You will be trained in best practices, methodologies, and gain the technical and functional skills required to participate in enterprise software projects focused on supporting Global Trade, Compliance and Tax departments. These projects include implementation of enterprise software, content and services to our customers. You will also be exposed to the ONESOURCE platform and all services provided across our Corporates business.
As a member of the Professional Services team, you will strive to enable and simplify the work of Global Trade, Compliance and Tax professional in Corporations focusing on Global Trade.
Summary of Position
The Implementation Consultant (Integration focused) will work closely with the functional Project team members to implement our integrations for the Global Trade Implementations. This position is part of the Corporates Professional Services department. We deliver enterprise Global Trade, Compliance and software that provides critical information and software solutions to companies of all sizes.
About the Role
In this opportunity you will:
Interact with client Global Trade, Compliance, Tax and Technology professionals in Fortune 500 clients
Deliver technical requirements through configuration process, primarily via SQL and XML
Engage with other key teams such as Product Management & Engineering within Thomson Reuters as appropriate to deliver end to end solutions
Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases
Explain system or tool related issues/problems and solutions to Global Trade, Compliance, Tax & technical staff
Work with clients to translate their business processes and policy into our Solutions
Complete tasks and take project ownership with limited supervision
Perform technical roles on medium to large projects
Support sales teams by supporting integration conversations
About You

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient in working with computers and standard business software like Microsoft Office
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

Creative problem-solving skills & motivated to drive innovation
Ability to work in a diverse work environment
Highly Desirable Skills/Experience
5 years relative work experience
Exposure to Global Trade, Supply Chain Businesses, or Compliance processes
Experience with process analysis, design & mapping
Experience Implementing Enterprise Software including Cloud Solutions and third-party applications
Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts
20% travel, as needed, to client sites Offsite Training, Industry events and assist with implementations
Ability to Relocate if needed
Licensed U.S. Customs Broker desirable, but not required
Education Required
Higher Education Degree or Diploma – Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business or Computer Science preferred
