Do you enjoy creating training materials and leading live sessions? The Legal Implementation Services team is seeking a Training & Lead Product Education Specialist to create reference guides and videos to prepare our Business Analyst teams with resources equipped with education and behaviors for successful trainings and implementation.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Training Lead & Product Education Specialist, you will:

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the C-Track Product and serve as a C-Track product trainer for on-site and virtual client engagements, in addition to working across functional teams staying current with rapidly advancing enhancements.

  • Assess individual and group training needs, building relationships across teams to meet goals.

  • Relay training feedback/suggestions to the project team.

  • Create quick reference guides and videos as required that can be used alongside our existing product documentation.

  • Actively reach out to the students to ensure any technical challenges they face are addressed.

  • Analyze source materials such as design documents, and other scoping material.

  • Understand corporate goals and practices and apply them when resolving a variety of problems.

  • Follow up to monitor satisfaction and respond to additional requests or problems quickly.

  • Travel may be required approx. (10-30%) to support project activities, training, and go-lives.


About You
You're a fit for the role of Training Lead & Product Education Specialist if your background includes:

  • A passion for learning, teaching, and mastering complex system functionality and techniques quickly through instruction and self-training.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to comfortably and confidently present to groups of 20 people using a variety of delivery methods. Must have the ability to communicate complex information in a concise, logical manner.

  • Experience with or understanding of judicial/court process a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant technical training work experience required.

  • Breadth and depth in software engineering.

  • Ability to understand and articulate technical requirements and processes and translate that information into technical documentation.

  • Quality focused, deadline oriented and the ability to flexibly adapt to a changing environment.

  • Highly organized and computer literate with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to reach out and build relationships across teams in a remote working environment.

  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts and to facilitate consensus.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following (New York City, San Francisco, Culver City, Irvine). The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $78,500 - $145,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $71,400 - $132,600. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
