Job Summary
This is a key role with the primary responsibility for verifying and inputting tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for verifying and inputting tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns
- Utilize an in-house software called 1040SCAN that utilizes a new technology called Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and verify efficiency of the software's operations
- Constantly focusing on details and accuracy of the software's functionality to successfully prepare tax documents for clients
- Help maximize efficiency in the 1040SCAN software to facilitate paperless tax workflow for clients
- Input any missing information into the software by looking into the company database for comparison.
Basic Qualifications
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Must be able to type 50wpm
- Have an eye for detail
- Must be comfortable sitting in a chair for multiple hours in a row
