Scope of Work

• Primary focus is to bid & estimate commercial and state projects
• Review specifications and plans to determine proper project needs and create detailed estimates
• Identify parts of a project that may be key to making a competitive estimate
• Maintain all working documents and data to back-up estimate figures
• Draft scope and proposal letters for bid and negotiated projects
• Provide take-off type quotes from drawings, plans or electronic files using programs approved by management
• Estimate all qualified opportunities
• Maintain a quote log for accurate record keeping including win/loss
• Plan and execute estimating strategy as defined by management
• Attend and collaborate with team members during weekly meetings

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR is required
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes required
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
• Proficient with Microsoft programs; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Possess both written and verbal communication skills to communicate efficiently and interact professionally with management, clients and employees, building relationships based on trust and rapport
• Track record of strong performance and achievement of goals
• Strong math skills, organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
