Position Summary:
Responsible for washing, cleaning and proper storage of all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware and glassware. Assist in food preparation for restaurant and events as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all procedures to properly wash, clean, and store all dishes
- Wash & polish all stainless steel in kitchen
- Ensure maintenance of dishroom as well as other common areas
- Assist in basic kitchen preparation for both daily service and banquets
- Assist in opening or closing procedures including trash removal, sweeping & mopping kitchen areas, and the proper storage of all wares and consumables
- Other duties as assigned
