Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained
- Monitor and adjust production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Train and develop production staff to improve performance and meet production goals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of logic controllers, plastics injection molding, press brake machines, hand tools, forklift operation, machining, mechanical principles, CNC operation, materials handling, and fabrication
- Proven ability to lead a team and drive results in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
