Summary:

This position is responsible for the planning, operation, support and maintenance of all computer and information systems


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of the ticket system and providing hardware and software support when necessary
  • LAN/WAN/WLAN Management
  • IT infrastructure and emergency mobile networking management
  • Troubleshooting of any issues that may occur within networks
  • Assists in the daily maintenance of the Computer Aided Dispatch/Billing, ePCR and all supporting computer systems.
  • Coordinates new system development and improvements to existing systems with computer information services; serves on committees for on-going analysis of operational improvement.
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree in Information Technology
  • 3 years of experience in the Technical Services Field
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL), Office 365, Networking Protocols, Routers, Switches and other related applications
  • Extensive Windows experience on client and server


Desired Qualifications:

  • A certification and Microsoft Certifications
  • Good working knowledge of EMS CAD systems and supporting interfaces


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to work at computer for extended periods.
