Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions.

The Account Manager directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. The Account Manager is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility’s services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods.

The Account Manager is responsible for the implementing the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals.

The Account Manager must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment.

There is daily travel involved (minimal overnight) with occasional weekends/evenings involved.

Qualifications:
The minimum requirements are:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
Prefer knowledge of the SouthEast behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming.
Capable of operating independently and effectively; self-motivated. Must be able to analyze, plan and follow-through for maximum effectiveness with the assigned target markets. Experience in developing new territories in target markets with customer base. Consistent ability to close sales and achieve assigned objectives. Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology. Experience in customer service in the health care field preferred.
License: Valid South Carolina driver’s license
