Maintenance Worker

Threshold, Inc. a Greensburg based Community Residential Rehabilitation service provider is looking to hire a part-time Maintenance Worker.

Responsibilities:

• Perform light cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Perform handy-man services for minor fixes such as repairing broken appliances, equipment, etc.
• Delivers or picks up supplies using agency vehicles.
• Plants and maintains flowers and landscaping on grounds.
• Vendor coordination for larger projects.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Cleans employee bathroom and runs vacuum on office carpets, cleans staircases, and dusts hallways and steps on weekly basis.
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Perform light snow removal on walks, steps, using shovel & snow blower.
• Sweeps the gazebo area weekly, empties smoking urns, and wipes off chairs and other outdoor furniture.
• Reports all repairs needed, beyond the responsibility of the maintenance worker position to the Fiscal Director.

Skills:

• Proven experience as maintenance worker.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ideal opportunity for recent retiree or someone with experience looking for extra income.
