Maintenance Worker:
Threshold, a human services agency supporting people with disabilities has an opening for a trustworthy, responsible person to join our Team.
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. These are great work hours with paid Holidays off starting day one of employment!!
The duties performed by the Maintenance Worker fall under the broad definition of general janitorial/custodial duties and building maintenance. Assist Director of Facilities and Maintenance as requested on building maintenance projects involving main facility.
Essential duties include: collect trash on a daily basis, sweep, dust, vacuum, mop floors on a daily basis, clean and sanitize lavatories, check inventory and order supplies, set up and tear down in Boardroom, Cafeteria, etc., monitor building security at end of shift, assist in snow removal, police outside grounds for trash, perform light electrical and plumbing repairs as needed, and perform any other duties as directed by supervisor.
Requirements: Demonstrated ability and experience in custodial and maintenance fields.
