Essential Responsibilities
- Verify the identification of a resident to assure appropriate care is being provided to residents.
- Recognize and respond to the needs of residents.
- Document changes in the resident's condition as soon as possible.
- Report resident's intake on meal percentage sheet.
- Document accidents and incidents when they occur.
- Assist with resident move-ins, transferring and move outs.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are handled in accordance with Community policies and procedures as instructed by leader.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to identify and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional resident, family members, and team member issues
- Ability to resolve conflict without blaming
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens carefully and gets clarification.
- Literate in Word and Excel, as well as in basic (Window) environment
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- At least six months experience working in assisted living Community, nursing homes, memory care Community, hospital, home health agency, or other healthcare establishment.
- Certification of Medication Technician
