Essential Responsibilities

  • Verify the identification of a resident to assure appropriate care is being provided to residents.
  • Recognize and respond to the needs of residents.
  • Document changes in the resident's condition as soon as possible.
  • Report resident's intake on meal percentage sheet.
  • Document accidents and incidents when they occur.
  • Assist with resident move-ins, transferring and move outs.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are handled in accordance with Community policies and procedures as instructed by leader.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to identify and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional resident, family members, and team member issues
  • Ability to resolve conflict without blaming
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens carefully and gets clarification.
  • Literate in Word and Excel, as well as in basic (Window) environment


Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience
  • At least six months experience working in assisted living Community, nursing homes, memory care Community, hospital, home health agency, or other healthcare establishment.
  • Certification of Medication Technician
