Essential Functions Include:
- This role is a hands-on, working on the production floor with employees, 80% floor time with 20% office duties
- Responsible for daily inventories and communication to the group regarding appropriate raw goods and packaging inventory.
- Maintain best warehousing and inventory practices.
- The ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain rapport with coworkers and support departments.
- Track usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels.
- Maintain inventory of Raw, WIP, and FG’s using FIFO to schedule usages.
- Update the inventory tracking system daily to keep accurate accounting for the site and report out to management.
- Monitor material supply and flow and identify bottlenecks or shortages during use.
- Daily inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and inventory tracking.
- Entering and updating all materials in the Company’s ERP system.
- Attend and participate in regular review meetings with production to manage and control on hand inventory and aging materials.
- Tracking, collection, and filing of daily paperwork.
- Work with QA on holds and releases, staging, segregation, etc.
- Monitoring product temperatures and planning for the next day(s), week(s) production.
- Validate produced quantities and ensure accurate inventory levels prior to shipment.
Qualifications Include:
- 3 years experience in production, logistics, purchasing, and/or scheduling
- Experience in food manufacturing a plus
- Familiarity with inventory controls, processes, and procedures preferred.
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- An ability to think ahead, plan and prepare action plans to achieve results.
