Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Supervises department employees, priorities, and productivity in a freeze-dried manufacturing warehouse environment: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment or receives raw material by performing required duties to quality and productivity standards.
- Ensures proper inventory, staging, and process flow of product throughout production facility.
- Must operate Forklift as needed. Other duties may be assigned that pertain to the classification.
- Demonstrated job duties and knowledge listed are sum for the job classification.
- Knowledge of all duties is to be cross functional but specific duties are assigned within available personnel.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- A bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
- Forklift Certification - will be certified by a Thrive Foods trainer.
- Must possess a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- An ability to think ahead, plan and prepare action plans to achieve results.
- An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.
- The possession of quality orientation and attention to detail, problem analysis and resolution.
- In addition to, strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.
- 50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking, and 40% or more standing.
- The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment.
- Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift to 40 lbs. is required.
