Baton Rouge Veterinary Specialists is looking to add an experienced Relief OVERNIGHT technician to the team!
The ideal candidate:
- a minimum of 2 years VT experience in a fast-paced environment and/or RVT/LVT required
- works well on a team or alone
- excels at treatment based patient care
- Surgery experience desired
- Cornerstone experience desired
Job Overview:
We are looking for someone who has experience as a veterinary technician in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate effectively with DVMs across ER, General Practice, and Specialty services. The candidate who will exceed in this position has a strong veterinary skill set including vitals assessment, venipuncture, medication administration and anesthesia monitoring. Overnights, weekends and holidays equaling 40 hours per week are required.
