PRN* In-Home Caregiver Needed for Military Veteran

We are looking for a motivated individual looking to put their stamp on the home care industry.

Thrive USA Home Care has an innovative approach to home care and we are looking for talented and experienced Caregivers and CNA's to fill temporary shifts as needed. This position may consist of day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Must be available to work for a total of 10-15 hours per month and be willing to drive over 30 miles if needed.

Specifics for this opportunity:

Location: Baltimore, Washington DC, Finksburg, Carroll County, Frederick County, Montgomery County. 

Schedule: PRN (as needed)

Pay: $17-$19 Per Hour-DOE 

Job Type: Contract

Requirements:

-Must have Valid CPR & First Aid Certification

-Must be able to provide proof of most current PPD screening

-Must have a Valid Driver's License/Personal Vehicle

-Must be willing to travel up to 30 miles or more if needed

-Must be available to work 9am-5pm (evening availability is a plus) 

Skills and Qualifications:

-CNA License Preferred

-Covid Vaccine Preferred

-Ability to be Flexible with scheduling

-Willing to fill last minute shifts as needed

-Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy and compassion

-Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension
-Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
-Keen attention to detail
-Familiarity with symptoms and signs of a variety of medical conditions

Duties Include:

-Performing activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing of a client
-Meeting mobility needs and ensuring safety
-Providing a safe, comfortable and healing environment for all clients
-Light housekeeping services and meal prepping
-Medication reminders
-Technology integration

*HHA/CNA works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and other administrators to provide supplementary service in carrying out a care plan.*

Pay Rate: $17-$19 Per Hour

CNA License: CNA not Required but Preferred
