Position Title: Automotive Sales Associate
Location: Louisville, KY
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Commission, Paid Weekly
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced used car salesperson to join our team. As a used car salesperson, you will be responsible for selling high-quality used cars to our customers. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable, customer-focused, and have a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
- Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
- Qualify buyers by understanding buyer’s requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
- Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
- Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collect payment; delivers automobile.
- Provide sales management information by completing reports.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in automotive sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to meet aggressive sales targets and work under pressure
- Possess a valid driver’s license
COMPENSATION:
- Commission based
- On average, 20 car sales per month make around 50-60k per year
- The candidate will need to make around 15-25 sales per month
