What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at ThriveMore Brands?
ThriveMore Brands is seeking to hire a Senior Manager of Construction Project Management to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the standards of our design guide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface and advise franchisees during the construction process and provide the necessary support for successful remodels and new store openings.
- Visits construction sites and provides inspection reports to ensure compliance with all plan specifications and brand standards.
- Reviews all franchise signage to ensure adherence to brand standards and assist in franchisee store installations with Corporate sign vendors.
- Identifies and introduces new ideas and solutions to create efficiency and identifies potential value savings.
- Assists franchisees with invoicing questions pertaining to the new store or remodel projects.
- Work alongside the franchise development team to ensure the sites being issued are in alignment with the franchisee’s franchise agreement and appropriate territory.
- Manage the buildout and real estate team.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Manage and coordinate the work of architects and contractors.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and resolve any issues that arise
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continually improve processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in buildout or construction project management
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
- Proficiency in project management software
- Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
