This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, work instructions contained in the quality management system. Also, Responsible for handling complaints through the complaint management system and facilitating material disposition as part of credit entry into SAP. Root cause and corrective actions including 8D's. A resource to Sales/Buyer/Plant/Warehouse personnel as trainer on quality system documents and record keeping duties to show compliance to system requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ownership of customer complaints, corrective action, oversight of quality records held in Sales/Buyer/Plant/Warehouse, internal process auditing for compliance to procedures
- Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
- QAR will act as trainer on quality department documents for Sales/Buyer/Plant/Warehouse personnel
- Responsible to ensure proper records are maintained for calibrated equipment, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
- Understand and follow the elements of the QMS
- Work with Quality &; Compliance Manager maintain compliance to the ISO and AS9100D within the QMS for site to maintain AS9100D Certification of Registration
- Complete required documentation for work performed
- Perform data entry of work results into appropriate databases
- May be required to identify causes of non-conformance

- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- Good written and verbal skills are required. Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer skills (WORD, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 quality system standard
- Effective interpersonal skills to provide feedback, job information and training to team members
Preferred Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a Quality Assurance role
- AS9100D Aerospace ISO9001:2015
- Writing Work Instructions & SOP's
- Prior experience performing internal process audits

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
