As the Inventory Analyst you will directly support our Copper and Brass Operations and Sales Team! The right candidate may sit in either our Wallingford, CT or Acworth, GA location. Check out the details below!!

• Cover the East Region in these Plants and Sales Offices - Acworth, Smithfield and Wallingford, improve earnings and turn ROI. Continually generating cash flow on CSI Reducing Obsolescence
• CSI Management - QuickBase review - Cost, Resale, TKVA and demand vs replenishment
• Develop and distribute customer facing CSI reports bi-monthly, provide detail on underperforming CSI and work with outside sales to inform the sales rep of the delinquent inventory
• Review product lifecycle for contract items
• Product performance vs expectation - profitability and inventory turns.
• Utilizes systemic tools to recommend purchase, schedule, and replenish inventory items to meet stated inventory objectives.
• Complete understanding of the customer specific inventory management process Regional Product Life Cycle Analyst
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with sales and sales management inside the company to achieve internal customer service goals.
• Comprehensive understanding of company objectives in sales, operations, and purchasing Effectively communicates with both internal customers.
• Work with plant personnel in Smithfield, Atlanta, and Wallingford to accurately report monthly scrap on hand with timely monthly scrap sales
• Monthly review and submission of nonmoving inventory report from central purchasing. Identify materials on this report we should keep, scrap or excess.
• Review "IM" report monthly with each plant; develop actions to reduce aged items
• Review 969/970 Report and identify high dollar items that need to be flagged for management review
• Bimonthly review of stock aged by batch report for Smithfield, Atlanta and Wallingford, work with plant management and outside sales managers to review and clean up aged batches
• Completing the Short Action list report monthly Smithfield, Wallingford, and Atlanta.

Requirements:

• Associates/Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in MIS or business administration from four-year college or university; or directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills combined with an optimistic, positive outlook are essential to resolve complex forecast issues with customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, VBA and MS Outlook
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (#VLOOKUPS #PIVOTS)
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and work on a day-to-day basis within department, cross functionally within the company and with our supply base.
• An understanding of company and departmental policies and procedures and to maintain accurate records and files in compliance with those policies and procedures.
• Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies
• 25% Travel (3 Days per month in ATL/WAL 1 Day in Smithifield, RI)

Preferred Requirements:

• 3-5 years Inventory Management Experience
• The ability to train new personnel as well as communicate with all levels of management.
