Fixed Income Credit Analyst The Fixed Income Credit Analyst job will support the process of conducting credit analysis on municipal issuers and assist in making actionable investment recommendations to the fixed income team. The analyst will support the analysis and evaluation of creditworthiness of municipal credit issues using qualitative and quantitative skills along with supporting the ongoing surveillance of portfolio holdings. Key Responsibilities and Duties Performs credit analysis review of new issue and existing fixed income securities, identifying strengths and risks in a bond’s credit profile, in consultation with management. Collaborate with other research team members to produce thematic sector and market research. Assists in monitoring fixed income security holdings for potential changes in credit quality and supports recommendations based on credit analysis assessments. Works closely with others to provide timely opinions on new issue and existing bonds across a variety of market sectors. Produces concise written research, verbally articulates credit strengths and risks to portfolio managers and business partners and assists fixed income portfolio managers in identifying investment opportunities. Develops formal reports and processes that enable efficient and transparent oversight of risk exposures. Monitors fixed income security holdings for potential changes in credit quality, and makes actionable recommendations regarding buying, selling, or holding the securities. Generates relative value assessment of securities and sectors and shares recommendations with senior research and portfolio management team. Evaluates bond documentation and legal agreements as part of the investment review process.Educational Requirements University (Degree) PreferredWork Experience 2 Years Required; 3 Years PreferredPhysical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 6IC Related Skills Base Pay Range: $78,800/yr. - $110,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
