**Senior Network Engineer**

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
Design deploy and support Global Network Infrastructures utilizing industry best practices.
Contribute to the development of various automations with various network hardware to include but not limited to Cisco Data Center and User Access service offerings, F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls, NGNIX Application Deployment Orchestration tools, and Riverbed Monitoring tools.
Engage in complex production impacting technical issues and work to troubleshoot and restore service.
Collaboration with other technical Infrastructure Teams.
Collaborate with Application SMEs.
Collaboration with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) on protocol risk.
Lead overall technical implementation for large and complex Network Programs.
Develop documentation and capacity plans.
Deliver technical briefings, Solution Design sessions and Proofs-of-Concepts to all levels of stakeholders.
Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
Research and evaluate infrastructure strategies, hardware/software, security and networking products.
Advise management of options, risk vs. cost, benefits and other impacts of infrastructure solutions.
Set technical standards for network infrastructure, security baselines, policies and procedures.
Work with outsource vendor to drive sound architectures, engineering designs, and configuration templates.

**Required Experience** :
Minimum of three (3) years' experience supporting, monitoring, configuring, and implementing enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors on a large enterprise and global scale
**Preferred** :
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and translating into creditable, high quality and resilient designs based upon the organization's roadmaps and standards
Deep understanding and experience with routing protocols (such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network protocols (such as IPv4, IPv6, NAT, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS)
Knowledge of routing and switching hardware platforms architecture, forwarding and data planes
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE R&S, CCIE Datacenter, CCDE, CISSP, GSEC, GIAC or AWS Networking Specialist are desirable
Experience with network automation platforms (ex. Ansible)
Experience with Scripting to support network automation, troubleshooting and infrastructure support
**Data Center and Cloud**
Experience with Data Center network design and engineering
Experience with Multi-site architecture, Spine/leaf configuration, VDCs, edge routing
Experience in Integrations with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
**WAN Technologies**
Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) technologies
Experience designing, configuring, maintaining and provisioning of various WAN topologies (MPLS, VPLS/EVC, DIA, DWDM, Point to Point)
Experience with WAN Optimization services such as Riverbed Steelhead, Cisco WAAS, Silver Peak, etc.
**Network Access Technologies**
Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Networking Access (SDA) technologies
Experience designing and implementing Cisco DNA Center to manage SDA environments
Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Wireless LAN Controller technologies and Wireless Access Points
Experience with 802.11a, b, g, n, ac and ax, 2.4 and 5Ghz frequencies, and wireless optimization configurations for optimized client servicing, roaming and location services.
Experience configuring, deploying and maintaining Enterprise Segmentation systems to include, 802.1x, NAC using technologies such as Cisco ISE.
Experience configuring discovery, profiling and enforcement policies as well as monitoring of active policies for effectiveness.
**Telemetry**
Experience supporting Cisco Secure Workload Analytics / Tetration Analytics in a large multi-site deployment
Experience consulting with Application subject matter experts on net flow information and essential communications
Utilization of real time telemetry data from application components and use behavior analysis algorithms to identify application groups and their communication patterns and service dependencies
Experience troubleshooting and support of ACI Contracts
Experience collecting and analyzing Cisco Secure Workload Analytics / Tetration Analytics telemetry data

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
