What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expediter position at Tiago's Cabo Grille - RIM?
Position Summary
Receives cooked food items and assembles them correctly and according to specification before passing them through to the serving counter to be served to guests. Coordinates orders from pantry, broiler / grill and fryer with customer ticket numbers. Ensures quality and proper plate presentation for all plates leaving kitchen. Communicates with kitchen staff to ensure proper par levels of all food prep items.
Requirements
- Properly sanitize and set up station according to restaurant’s
guidelines.
- Constantly checks food quality ensuring all products guests receive
meet Sea Island standards.
- Execute food production and plating, according to stated spec and
timing.
- Stock and restock station, pre-food items as needed throughout the
shift.
- Maintain a clean, clutter free and organized station at all times.
- Maintain clean and organized food and other kitchen storage areas.
- Embrace teamwork within the Company, creating a positive work
environment.
- Break down and clean station at the end of the shift, follow daily
cleaning list.
- Complete a positional training program with validation measures
throughout.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform other job-related activities as required or assigned by manager.
