What are the responsibilities and job description for the DVR Technician position at TIC Security LLC?
TIC is seeking a CCTV / DVR technician with referenceable experience of past success on large systems. The job will be conducted exclusively at the site of one of our federal clients in downtown Washington, DC.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly checks of the DVR system on site.
- Reporting on findings using Excel spreadsheets and various standard communication methods.
- Recovering video footage and troubleshooting the DVR system when necessary.
- Installation, programming, cabling, and testing of security equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting various CCTV and burglar systems.
- Collaborating with onsite IT teams and Access Control technicians.
- Reading wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- Must be available on demand for emergencies (after hours) – paid time and a half.
- Must be able to achieve Federal Adjudication--a plus if current PIV adjudication is in place.
- Must be able to adapt knowledge and experience to a customized DVR system.
- TIC will provide other required training.
- Must have a positive attitude and desire to learn.
