Position Summary: Tidal Basin seeks a candidate to join the team supporting client. The position will assist in one or more programs that provide temporary housing and temporary or permanent repairs to damaged homes in the recovery from Hurricane Ian. The objective of the Program Analyst is to support the development of program policies and procedures, ensure compliance with state and federal law, and to effectively communicate these policies to the program staff and other stakeholders.
The Program Analyst will coordinate closely with the Program Lead to ensure all policy decisions receive appropriate/necessary approvals and are in compliance with state and federal regulations. The Program Analyst will work closely with the Training Manager to ensure all staff and partners are trained in the most up to date policy and procedures. The Program Analyst will be responsible for tracking any new guidance and making appropriate updates to program policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support in policy creation and development, program compliance, outreach, and work effectively as part of a team to provide expert services. Specific duties may include:
- Provide expert technical assistance on policies, principles, and standard operating procedures related to the program.
- Coordinate with the Program Lead to develop all program policies and procedures
- Manage and update all program policies and procedures
- Assist the Training Manager to develop training tools and resources related to program policy
- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and guidance.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality of work-related issues and uphold data integrity policies.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Excellent understanding of local, state, and federal government structure
- Experience working with federal grant-funded programs
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; AND,
- 2 years in case management, financial management, accounting, application processing, grant-funded or government programs or related fields
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Experience with federally funded housing programs a plus
Location: Southwest Florida; some travel required throughout impacted area.
