Rad Tech Medical Assistant Position Summary

Performs Radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned. Works dually as a Medical Assistant, rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers in patient care activities, updating medical records.

Rad Tech Medical Assistant Position Requirements

Education

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
• Must maintain appropriate Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Delaware and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.
• Previous physician office experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience with electronic health record preferred.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

Rad Tech Medical Assistant Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Expected to work overtime in time of personnel shortages or emergencies.
• Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.

Rad Tech Medical Assistant Benefits

• At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
