School Psychologist

Tiegerman is a special needs program servicing children from preschool through high school. We are looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our program in Glen Cove for current and upcoming school years. At Tiegerman, our mission is to identify children with language and autism spectrum disorders early to provide educational programs which will prepare them for a world filled with words, sentences, stories and messages.

School psychologists are uniquely qualified staff members of school teams that support students’ ability to learn. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community. School Psychologist is an exempt position. NYSED Certification is required.

Pay: $46,999.71 - $98,322.39 per year
