Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable nationally renowned Fire Protection Company located in the Greater Boston Area. We are seeking an experienced candidate proficient in the conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm and Suppression Life Safety Systems.
Job Title: Fire Alarm Inspector
Project Types: Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use, Retail, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on fire alarm and suppression systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
- Identify and diagnose issues with fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
- Manage job scheduling and progress efficiently and cost-effectively, emphasizing quality.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Educate customers on fire alarm system functionality, best practices, and emergency response procedures.
- Complete and submit all required documentation promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
- Demonstrate understanding of and adhere to safety regulations and practices.
- Maintain and care for equipment, including trucks, lifts, and tools.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- NICET Level II Certification preferred.
- Fire Alarm license or ability to attain
- 1 years of service experience, preferably in fire/life safety industry or related field
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the FLS industry.
- Knowledge of NFPA code requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
