What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Selector position at Tier One Personnel?
We are looking for an experienced Order Selector to join our team! Please check location and description below!
Schedule:
Monday-Saturday
6AM to Finish
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Fill customer orders and delivering them to the delivery dock
- Pick, pack and weigh customer-specific orders, properly and accurately
- Label, load, and transport customer orders to designated area using riding pallet jack or forklift
- Perform quality inspection and matching of customer orders prior to delivery
- Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Must be able to hear, see, and communicate through written and verbal means
- Must be able to work effectively with other employees
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of previous warehousing or inventory/merchandising experience preferred
Steel to shoes required and a hard hat!!!!!
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Requires ability to push and pull a variety of carts and material handling equipment
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Must be able to make substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must be able to work in 40 – 45 degrees temperatures)
