With a focus on innovation and growth, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Distributor Sales Manager to drive revenue expansion. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the sales strategy, contribute to the overall success of our organization, and earn unlimited commissions.

Position overview:

As Distributor Sales manager you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationship with current dealers, expanding and adding relationships with new distributors and advancing and developing programs within the dealer network to expand revenue. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting product presentations and negotiating contracts. You will also coordinate with others to help provide feedback to deliver new products to the current portfolio of products.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proven track record in sales through a dealer network, preferably in the logistics and warehousing solutions industry, and a passion for exceeding targets. Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and lead generation

  • Identify and research potential clients in the designated territory.
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold calling and other proactive methods

Sales presentations

  • Conduct compelling product presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings
  • Address client concerns and objections effectively.

Sales Strategy and planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors’ activities, and customers’ needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and key account management.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and implement improvements as needed.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Forecasting and reporting

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports to the executive team
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of sales activities and results
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to business objectives
  • Provide input into product development and marketing strategies based on market feedback

Sales Negotiation

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring a win-win outcome for both the client and the company

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Provide feedback to the sales, product development and marketing team to enhance product/service offerings.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the logistics and warehouse solutions industry selling through dealers.
  • Strong leadership and track record of building and developing relationship and sales growth.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices, with focus on achieving revenue targets.
  • A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
