TIG Distributing in Marshalltown is looking for the ideal candidate for an Assembly Technician needed for light assembly, packaging, and kitting.

Job Summary

Responsible for technical light assembly, packaging, kitting, equipment operation, and general warehouse operations support. Technical assembly includes, but is not limited to various service assemblies, part kitting, and packaging. General warehouse operations support includes, but is not limited to: inventory receiving, part movement, order fulfillment, packaging, and warehouse assistance.

Required

• Creativity in problem-solving

• Strict attention to detail and adherence to formal quality control processes

• Proficient oral and written communication skills

• Valid driver’s license

• Basic computer experience

Preferred

• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

• Fork lift experience

• Microsoft Outlook Excel, Word, and OneNote proficiency
