Where would you step in? 
As a valuable member of our Massachusetts Environment team, you will join an experienced team of Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs), project managers, scientists, and engineers. You can be based in Woburn, Westwood, or Boston, Massachusetts offices with a hybrid approach to work. 

Our Environment Team and Projects 
Our Environment group is over 100 strong throughout our Northeast offices. The work we do covers site assessment, remediation, building demolition, Brownfields re-development, wetland science, regulatory compliance, permitting, and other ways we can support client work with state and local governments, utilities, private clients, colleges, and hospitals. 

What will you be doing? 
As an Project Environmental Scientist, the types of projects will cover brownfields, redevelopment, utility, institutional, and other similar work. You will cover Phase I, II and III environmental site assessments, remediation planning and oversight, and data interpretation and reporting. You will prepare technical deliverables, data analysis, regulation review and comparison, site assessment reports, remedial action plans, business development efforts, and other reports. You will also help mentor and guide entry-level staff and take on project management tasks where appropriate.  

What do you need? 
As a Project Environmental Scientist, you should have over five years of environmental consulting experience with progressively increasing responsibility. Your undergraduate program should be in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields. You should have experience with all phases of environmental site assessments and remediation projects, and an understanding of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP). You will have experience conducting site investigations and remediation observation and be on track to become a Licensed Site Professional (LSP).

Project Environmental Scientists salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate’s skill and experience; the salary range for this position for individuals with 5-8 years of experience is $61,002 - $80,065 (compensation would be higher with more years of experience).
