What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Landscape Designer position at Tighe & Bond?
Where would you step in?
As a valuable member of our Halvorson | Tighe Bond Studio award-winning landscape architecture team, you will help deliver inspired landscape designs for clients. You will sit in our Boston, MA office and will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model, including flex-time summer Fridays.
Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio
An award-winning landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design studio within Tighe & Bond, serving New England and the eastern United States. Our studio creates timeless, engaging landscapes that are rooted in fundamental design principles and inspired by the dynamics of nature. The studio’s designers bring a unique perspective that, when combined with the expertise of our engineers and environmental specialists, creates more holistic solutions, with an eye to unlocking each site’s potential.
What will you be doing?
You will play a key role with design projects for parks, open spaces, campus and urban environments, municipal spaces, multi-scale landscape infrastructure, and development and remediation projects. You will be developing 3D models, rendering, and producing presentation graphics. You will also be assisting with the preparation of construction drawings/document sets and working with senior designers on a collaborative team.
What do you need?
You will need a BS or MS degree Landscape Architecture. It would be helpful if you had internship experience in design and technical experience in landscape design and plant knowledge as well as experience with design software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Lumion.
