Environmental Scientist- Wetlands

Where would you step in?
You will work with a team of engineers, landscape architects, planners, and environmental professionals on a variety of infrastructure and complex land use projects. You will sit in our Middletown, CT office and work in a hybrid work environment.

Our Environment Team and Projects
Our Environment group is 100 strong throughout our Northeast offices. We cover site assessment, remediation, materials management, wetland science, regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, and other environmental services to support client work with state and local governments, utilities, private clients, colleges, and hospitals.

What will you be doing?
Your opportunities will entail a mix of field work such as wetland delineation, construction environmental monitoring, vernal pool surveying, and rare/invasive species surveying. Your office work will include coastal and freshwater wetland permitting, and technical report writing.

What do you need?
You will need a BS degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Ecology, or a related field, with coursework in ecology, wetland delineation, hydrology, botany, and soils. You also need a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and your own transportation. You will need demonstrated ability in field data collection and analysis, and technical writing skills.
