· This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
· Drive activities to meet Quality Control and Assurance goals and objectives
· High focus on preparing documentation for customer requirements:
· Methods of inspection readiness packages
· First article packages
· Source inspection packages
· Assist with new project implementation activities to assess adherence to Drawings, Specifications, and qualifications
· Providing work instructions /procedures/check sheets
· Serving as an auditor on internal/external audits and continuously strive to improve quality throughout all aspects of work
· Support Quality Control activities to prevent defects and escapes:
· Conduct delegated source inspections
· Internal quality inspections of products using standard metrology tools and techniques
· Calibrating equipment and aiding in outsourcing calibration as needed
· Correspond with customers and troubleshoot or conduct root cause corrective action analysis on customer exceptions
Education and/or Experience
· Minimum 2 years Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience
· ERP systems experience, preferably EPICOR
· Knowledge of AS9100D and NADCAP preferred
· Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings with GD&T experience
· Knowledge and experience with FAI/PPAP processes
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
· Ability to learn and operate Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and other metrology equipment (FARO, calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, etc)
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Familiar with standard Office Technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
· Certified Quality Technician equivalent training or experience
