About the Team
The US TikTok User & Product Operations organization is looking for a highly motivated, collaborative and detail-oriented team member to provide high quality analysis to cross functional stakeholders. We are looking for a strategic self-starter with excellent project management skills who is ready to learn and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and different functions across cultures and time zones. The ideal candidate is a humble, curious, and skilled listener, communicator and relationship-builder.

In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and help oversee new processes and procedures to streamline operational workflows across the organization
• Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics to connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded insights for scalable and intuitive reporting
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing
• Self accountability as it pertains to contribution to goals and acts with a sense of urgency, embracing high-value stretch over safe goals

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent in a quantitative field like statistics, economics, applied math, engineering, or other technical field.
• 1 years of experience in data science or analytics role
• Proficiency in SQL, able to write structured queries on large data sets
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational and problem solving skills including the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred Experience in statistical programming (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB)
• Preferred experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Mode Analytics/Chartio/Tableau/Qlikview)
• Ability to collaborate with global stakeholders in different timezones as needed

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $82200 - $128300 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
