Field Sales Representative

Job Overview:

We are a New York-based tile wholesale company specializing in importing high-quality tiles from India. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Field Sales Representative to expand our reach by connecting with both small and large business owners in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut areas. Your primary role will involve visiting stores, presenting our tile samples, and establishing partnerships where these stores display and sell our products on our behalf. This is a unique opportunity for someone who has a flair for sales and building relationships, and who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Duties:

• Actively seek out and visit potential clients, including small businesses and large retail stores, to present our tile products and samples.
• Establish and maintain relationships with business owners, persuading them to display and sell our tiles in their stores.
• Understand the specific needs and preferences of each business and provide tailored solutions with our product range.
• Handle the logistics of providing sample tiles to stores and manage inventory levels based on store requirements and customer feedback.
• Collaborate closely with our internal team to ensure consistent availability and timely delivery of tiles to our partners.
• Negotiate terms of partnership and sales agreements with store owners.
• Keep detailed records of client interactions and sales activities
• Ensure exceptional ongoing customer service and support to our business partners.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in field sales, preferably with a background in tile or home improvement product sales.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a natural talent for building and maintaining relationships.
• Solid negotiation and persuasion skills, with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Knowledge of the tile industry and its products is highly advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the region for client meetings.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages, especially Spanish, is beneficial.
