For over 25 years, Tile Tech has been a leading & growing construction & building products manufacturer and distributor, servicing all of the U.S. and Canada. We are headquartered in the Vernon / Downtown LA area with other distribution warehouses throughout the US.
We are looking for a motivated and competent individual to join our amazing team who will need to perform well in a team environment, have exceptional people skills, be a self-starter with a positive attitude, and work well under deadlines.
Our Construction Estimator will have proven professional, commercial cost estimating skills and conceptual estimates for commercial construction projects.
Salary range will be based on relevant experience, education, skill sets and level of competency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience in Construction Estimating and or Construction Management is preferred.
- Blue Beam Experience Needed.
- Perform plan takeoffs, create proposals, and coordinate with internal staff (sales, logistics, accounting) through sales cycle.
- Send needed marketing materials, data sheets and samples to clients & reps.
- Input and follow each sale through the entire process, from quoting to delivery.
- Problem solve to ensure smooth sales operations and satisfied clients.
- Handling high volume incoming calls & emails.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- ORGANIZED, PUNCTUAL, CONSISTENT, and RELIABLE self-starter who can work in both a structured and busy environment.
- MUST have inside sales and / or estimating experience.
- MUST be able read, understand and analyze architectural drawings, specification & construction documents.
- MUST have proven experience using current estimating / take-off software programs, such as Blue Beam, PlanSwift, ProCore, MeasureSquare, Autodesk Takeoff.
- MUST be proficient in math and be able to evaluate large quantities of materials and allocate associated material costs. Evaluate change orders and pricing.
- MUST be a highly motivated self-starter, with ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
Additional Job Description:
- Experience with Sage / Peachtree, Quickbooks or similar accounting / invoicing software.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Experience Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Experience take-off software programs, such as Blue Beam, PlanSwift, ProCore, MeasureSquare, Autodesk Takeoff.
PAY
- Starting Pay is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Negotiable (D.O.E)
