Position Details The AR Specialist will support the Accounts Receivable team in tasks related to creating, monitoring, and collecting on company-wide receivables. This position will focus heavily on reporting, bill review, data entry and analysis. Responsibilities: Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, reconciling client remittance information, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues of payment methods and amounts. Extracting status and payment data from client portals and reconciling against internal reporting system to identify and resolve discrepancies. Assist in collection efforts that include conducting outreach to secure processing updates, approval statuses, and estimated payment dates; recording notes on this outreach and status for company-wide view. Participating in weekly meetings to review invoice rejections, cash on account pending application, invoicing discrepancies, and overdue or problem invoices that need escalation. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, payment term updates, etc. Summarizing receivables by tracking estimated scheduled incoming payments, invoice issues, uncollectable customer receivables. Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections or related accounting or finance role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of VLOOKUPs, PIVOT tables, and complex formulas. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt within a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Resourcefulness; self-starter comfortable completing tasks with a high level of autonomy. Proven time and task management abilities. Knowledge of Vista/Viewpoint software is a plus.
