We are actively seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Hot Springs, Ar. Come and grow with us!

In this role, you will be a member of a team dedicated to developing leading edge veneer processing algorithms for grade and moisture, used in the processing of veneer and plywood products.


How you Will Make a Positive Impact:
  • Assembly Technicians assemble fabricated and purchased components to produce equipment according to customer and engineering specifications. This position is considered safety sensitive.
  • Operates fabrication shop machinery and equipment including, but not limited to, overhead cranes, forklifts, grinders, impact wrenches, drill drivers, torque wrenches, and hammers.  

  • Properly select and utilize rigging equipment to perform overhead lifts safely. Training and certification will be provided. 

  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. 
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervision. 
  • Follow all shop safety policies and practices.
  • Ability to read a tape measure. 


The Value You Bring:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • manufacturing experience
  • At least one year of experience in metalworking or fabrication preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English as well as communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to apply basic math skills with accuracy (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods of time during shift
  • Able and willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
  • Must be highly motivated, work with a sense of urgency, and have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work well with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency while exemplifying behavior that upholds company values and standards
  • Ability to learn and apply operating systems and basic computer skills as needed
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions, work orders, and specifications while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • A mechanical and problem-solving aptitude to troubleshoot minor issues
  • Must display a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
  • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to multi-task effectively under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work without supervision to schedule daily work requirements to meet customer demands
