Work as part of a treatment team at Timber Ridge School (grades 6-12) with students having varied backgrounds and diverse needs. Timber Ridge is a year-round licensed residential treatment center and accredited school located in the Shenandoah Valley. Our employees transform the lives of emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescent boys with a goal of reuniting them successfully with their families and community.
Responsibilities include: Triage injured or ill students, liaise with medical professionals, administer medication, administer drug screens for students and staff, training/teaching, assessments, assist staff psychiatrist.
This position is full-time Monday-Friday mainly between the hours of 3pm-11pm with some weekend/evenings. On-call rotation required.
Minimum qualifications require license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Psychiatric experience preferred but not required, ability to work with adolescent youth, strong medical skills, good computer skills.
