Financial Controller

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Analyzes, interprets and reports cost and finances as well as performance indicators of the company.
• Responsible for timely reporting.
• Derives ‘lessons learned’ and advises management.
• Conducts evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Participates in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Liaises with Managing Director and Global Finance department on all financial matters.
• Conducts evaluations of all revenue.
• Complies financial overview slides.
• Ensures the correct and timely cost allocation, structure and controlling.
• Initiates and leads planning processes (Strategy, Budget) including forecasting.
• Manage the interface with regional tax departments.
• Willing to travel as needed.

• Performs all other duties and projects as assigned and delegated by the superior.

The ideal Financial Controller must fulfill the following requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• College degree/vocational training desirable.
• Bachelor and Master Degree desirable.
• Certificate in business administration or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Finance or related field.
• English required.
• German, Spanish and Portuguese are desirable.
• Airfreight or general cargo knowledge desirable.
• MS Office required, especially Excel as expert.
• Must be able to obtain work permit in the U.S.
• Assessment screening.
• Willingness to travel.
• Constant time pressure.
• High stress levels.
• Lift up to 70 lbs.
