SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Director of Operations, you'll oversee a broad spectrum of critical functions including production planning, management, inventory control, quality assurance, health and safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement. Your role is pivotal in orchestrating these elements to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. Drawing upon your wealth of experience and astute judgment, you'll strategize and execute plans to achieve our operational objectives effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and drive productivity across all departments.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration among various teams.
- Uphold compliance with industry regulations and operational guidelines, staying abreast of any changes or updates.
- Harness the power of data analysis software packages to glean insights, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making.
- Implement and maintain robust customer relationship management (CRM) systems to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to secure advantageous terms and contracts.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to departmental managers and staff members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Develop and implement performance evaluation metrics to gauge organizational effectiveness and drive performance improvements.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, innovation, and employee engagement.
- Foster open lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years or more of relevant experience in operations management, leadership, and strategic planning.
- Proven track record of success in senior management roles, with a demonstrated ability to optimize operational processes and procedures.
- Exceptional grasp of industry regulations and operational guidelines, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in utilizing data analysis software packages to extract actionable insights.
- Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) packages, with a focus on enhancing customer experiences.
- Outstanding negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to drive win-win outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a knack for conveying complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
